Twitterist? She who tweets? However you say it, I promised myself I would become more social media savvy this year so you can now find me on Twitter @fillyourownglas (Yes, I had to crop off my last “s”…finding out in a hurry that the Twitter gods like to have number limits for everything!)
I apologize in advance as I am sure to break Twitterquette more than once as I stumble along and figure it all out! Hope to see you all where the little blue bird flies! Cheers! Karen
Hahah nice I’ll follow you on twitter!

They made me crop off the “Little!” That’s okay, since I am most definitely not! Well, I am going to try and follow you now. But I confess, I am better at following someone back because I do not really know how to search for someone… shhhhhh….

Ah, now I see…I should have removed the gl and it would have been perfect! 😉 Thanks for finding me! 🙂

I shall look out for you as well (if I work out how to do it)!

I am working under the assumption that if the internet hasn’t been broken yet then I can only do it so much harm. 🙂

It’s interesting, Karen, how we make choices and determine the timing for our social media ‘engagement.’ Kudos on successfully entering twitterdom. Have fun! I deactivated my Facebook in November and will soon part ways with WordPress. Timing is everything. 🙂

No, Eric! You can’t leave WP!

Oh no! I will be sad to see you leave us. Your posts always resonate with me. I do understand the Facebook deactivation as it has become a bit toxic. Please let us know before you go and if you plan to use a new platform. Or, if we say “pretty please” perhaps you will stay? Best, Karen

I’m impressed! I have not dared to tweet yet.

I haven’t done much more than tweet my new blog posts, but there are some great ways to find new blogs via Twitter. Not that I needed another reason to spend too much time online…

That is good to know, Karen. It seems like a good many WordPress bloggers have twitter accounts–more than I’d have expected, really. I’m intrigued by the idea of limiting one’s words to a certain number of characters: maybe in the summer I might set up an account.

Resist, resist! It’s a terrible place full of trolls and demons.
Actually, I’ve never found a reason to use it but a fellow blogger gave me an idea that to create accounts based on characters in a book I’m presently writing. More will be revealed later 🙂

Now that is an interesting idea! Luckily I’m too small to attract trolls and demons, at least for now.

I am on Twitter as ‘Edwinasepisodes’. Mind you , I don’t know how to work it properly; Now you are there as well, and a novice like me, I might try and work it out!

Thank you for finding me! I think it will be a good place to find other bloggers. It will be a challenge for me to stay under the 140 character limit, though, wordy as I can be. 😉

Me too. The whole thing is a bit of a challenge for me! Technology eh?!

I hated twitter in the beginning, then grew to love it! I was really annoyed when @mylifeasamummy was taken so I had to use @mylifeasamummyx! Even though the first account hasn’t been used in years!
Thank you for linking up with the #WeekendBlogHop

Congrats on your latest adventure! I started an account years ago but never used it. Then WordPress suggested I share my posts on Twitter, so that happens without me. I really have no idea what I am doing. I’ll look to you for advice, so post something on it, please! See? I can’t even keep a teply short!

I think I’ve decided to be a Twittress! 🙂 I have trouble being concise, so the character limit may be my undoing.

I have a question. I know someone else who will end their conversations, especially on the phone with the word “cheers.” Where does that come from? Thanks!! 🙂

I can’t speak for your friend, but I sometimes end my posts with Cheers! due to my blog’s name. I like the idea of “filing my glass” and toasting to my readers. 🙂
