Some days it is hard to remember that the world is a beautiful and wondrous place. Then you step outside and see the magic, and it takes your breath away. I apologize for the quality as I am no photographer, and these were snapped on my old iPhone 4 while we were out grabbing a bite to eat yesterday evening. What a warm welcome to the weekend! I hope you are enjoying yours! Cheers! Karen
What an absolutely gorgeous picture, I love it. The colours are beautiful.Thank you for sharing this Karen.

I live on the coast so we have palmetto trees everywhere. I am envious of those who have snow-covered pine trees…go figure!

Am agreeing with “Fleck’s” comment. Palm trees…..really? This sky is absolutely beautiful Karen.
We have had a massive dumping of snow the past 2 days. Just have a point and shoot camera. You have inspired me to get out and shoot some pics tomorrow! Maybe even snow covered pine trees! 🙂

I saw the most gorgeous sky two nights ago, at dusk. Felt the same way you did. Just filled me with awe. Such a gift!

Thanks for coming by! As a transplanted Northerner I am missing snow this time of year. This sunset helped make up for it a bit. 🙂

I can’t get over the fact that you took that picture on a phone. That’s amazing!
How do you do that? None of my pictures ever come out. I was walking our dog along the river bank a few days ago, and we surprised–and were very surprised by–a beaver. I took twelve pictures of him(or her) with my phone and the very best one is about as clear as that famous ‘Nessy’ photo. Same thing happened with two otters last year. And don’t even get me started on the tree-frogs. 😦

This was a one in a thousand moment for me, trust me. Usually any picture I snap with my phone is a blurry, undefinable mess. Total luck here! 🙂

Lovely, Karen. You sell yourself short as a photographer.

Thank you, Laurie! I say it was luck, but it did prompt me to stick my little Canon camera into my purse and head to the beach today. 🙂
